Argentina’s cement market expanded by 6.4 per cent in March 2023 as 1,114,722t of cement were supplied, compared to 1,047,227t in March 2022, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. Argentine cement demand increased by 9.2 per cent YoY and 2.7 per cent MoM to 957,958t in January 2023, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. The market was entirely supplied by domestic producers, whose output, including export supply, expanded 8.9 per cent YoY and three per cent MoM to 965,361t.
