Swiss cement sales return to positive growth09 July 2018, Published under Cement NewsSwitzerland’s domestic cement deliveries has increased 2.9 per cent YoY to 1.22Mt in 2Q18, returning to positive growth for the first time since 4Q16, according the country’s cement association, Cemsuisse. In the first half of 2018, deliveries advanced 0.8 per cent compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. However, cement deliveries by rail has decreased by 0.9 per cent to 51.6 per cent of the total. |

Swiss cement deliveries advance 2.3% in 1H1305 July 2013, Published under Cement NewsIn the second quarter of 2013, the domestic deliveries of the Swiss cement industry increased 1.8 per cent when compared with 2Q12, according to the latest data from CemSuisse, the Swiss cement association. Dispatches rose from 1.286Mt in 2Q12 to 1.262Mt. In the first half-year, deliveries increased 2.3 per cent from 2.06Mt in 1H12 to 2.11Mt, reflecting the active construction market in the country. For the end of the year, a stable to slightly contracting volume can be expected. |
