Cement deliveries in the October-December 2021quarter in Switzerland (including Liechtenstein) reached 1,037,394t, up 3.4 per cent when compared with the 4Q20, when 1,002,614t,were supplied to the market, according to cemsuisse, the Swiss cement association. Cement deliveries in Switzerland declined 2.5 per cent to 1,108,772t in the third quarter of 2021, according to cemsuisse, the country’s cement association. Swiss cement producers saw a 2.6 per cent YoY rise in deliveries to 1,168,331t in the second quarter of 2021, according to cemsuisse, the country’s cement association. Cement deliveries in Switzerland, including Liechtenstein, slipped 3.1 per cent YoY to 1,002,614t in the 4Q20, down from 1,034,914t in the 4Q19, according to cemsuisse, the Swiss cement association. Cement deliveries in Switzerland including Liechtenstein remained largely stable in the 1Q20 at 872,104t, just slightly down from 874,275t reported in 1Q19, according to Cemsuisse, the Swiss cement association. Cement deliveries in Switzerland declined 3.6 per cent in the 2Q19 when compared to the 2Q18, according to Cemsuisse, the Swiss cement association. Sales in the April-June quarter 2019 came in at 1.176Mt. In the 2Q18 cement sales reached 1.22Mt. In the first quarter sales increased 4.8 per cent YoY to 0.874Mt and when compared with the 1H18, total cement sales in the first half of 2019 have slipped by 0.2 per cent.

Cement deliveries by the Swiss cement industry increased 4.8 per cent YoY to 874,275.2t in the 1Q19, according to the country’s cement association, Cemsuisse. In Switzerland and Liechtenstein, total cement deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2018 increased two per cent YoY to 1,088,196t from 1,067,145t in the 4Q17, according to Cemsuisse, the Swiss cement association.
