Wonder Cement to commission grinding unit20 August 2018, Published under Cement NewsIndia’s Wonder Cement is ready to start operations at its 2Mta clinker grinding unit in Dhule, Maharashtra, according to The Hindu. The plant represents an investment of INR4.5bn (US$64.54m) by the company. "The Dhule plant, which will commence operations on Monday, will distribute cement mainly across Maharashtra, while a minimal quantity would be supplied to Madhya Pradesh. Paraguay's INC to inaugurate new Villeta mill02 August 2018, Published under Cement NewsIndustria Nacional del Cemento (INC) will inaugurate its new US$11.5m cement mill tomorrow, enabling the plant to increase production by 50 per cent, according the cement company. The new 80tph mill has been operational since February, working in parallel with the old mill, which was installed in 1985. Output is expected to rise to 390,000t at Villeta. As a result, the company expects to increase its market share from a current 51 per cent to 70-75 per cent and increase revenues by US$50m. |

Featuring a drive power of 3800kW, the MVR 5000 R-4 mill will grind 425tph of raw material to a fineness of 12 per cent R90µm. In addition to the mill, Germany-based Gebr Pfeiffer will supply the cyclone collector, the mill fan and dampers. This translates a fall of 2.8 per cent of foreign investment in Pakistan.
