Shree Cement awards Gebr Pfeiffer with new order

India’s Shree Cement has awarded Gebr Pfeiffer with an order to equip its grinding plant in Pune, Maharashtra. The MVR 6000 C-6 mill can alternately produce 300tph of OPC at a fineness of 3100 cm²/g according to Blaine, PPC containing as much as 35 per cent of fly ash to a fineness of 3500cm²/g, or 180tph of GGBFS at a fineness of 4500cm²/g. Sagar Cements records 22% rise in production for July

India’s Sagar Cements has seen a 22.3 per cent increase in consolidated cement production to 281,597t in July 2019, compared with 230,193t in the year-ago period. Standalone production rose 21.2 per cent to 200,808t from 165,629t. Consolidated cement sales also surged 25.1 per cent to 274,822, against 219,748 in July 2018.

Mangalam Cement posts record quarterly profit

India’s Mangalam Cement has reported a record net profit of INR330m (US$4.66m) for the quarter ending 30 June, following an INR150m net loss in the year-ago period. Operational revenue surged 31 per cent YoY to INR3.33bn from INR2.55bn, while the EBITDA margin improved to 20.4 per cent from 1.9 per cent.

JK Cement reports 212% increase in net profit

India’s JK Cement has reported a 211.8 per cent YoY increase in standalone net profit for the quarter ending 30 June, rising to INR1.53bn (US$21.86m) from INR493.2m. Net revenue of the company rose 19 per cent to INR132.7bn from INR111.5bn. During the April-June quarter, operating expenses advanced 6.1 per cent to INR102.4bn from INR9.65bn. However, operating profit surged 102 per cent to INR30.3bn, compared with INR1.5bn in the year-ago period.

Dalmia Bharat reports 192% increase in net profit

India’s Dalmia Bharat Ltd has reported a 192.3 per cent YoY increase in consolidated net profit for the quarter ending 30 June, rising to INR1.52bn (US$21.82m) from INR520m. India’s Wonder Cement (RK Group) has launched the third line of its facility in Nimbahera, Chittorgarh, taking total capacity to 11Mta. India’s Ambuja Cement (LafargeHolcim) has announced a 1.2 per cent YoY increase in standalone net sales to INR57.59bn (US$834m) for the 1H19. EBITDA rose 2.9 per cent to INR11.62bn from INR11.29bn.
