Loesche mill series for Batisöke project in Turkey

Batisöke Söke Cimento Sanayii has ordered an entire line of vertical roller mills (VRM) from Loesche as part of a new kiln line project at the Söke cement plant in Turkey. For raw material grinding, a Loesche LM 56.4 has been ordered with a capacity of 500tph and a product fineness of 12 per cent R at 90μm. The gearbox of this mill has a power of 3400kW. Vietnam output up 10.3%, exports to miss target

Vietnam produced 61.2Mt of cement in the first 11 months of this year, up 10.3 per cent from the same period of last year, the government-run General Statistics Office said. The country's cement sales increased 10.2 per cent YoY to 6.5Mt in November. The Ministry of Construction predicted that Vietnam’s sales of cement and clinker to rise to between 72-74Mt this year. CIMAF to start up Rep Congo works in January

January 2016 will see the start of operations at CIMAF’s Hinda works in southern Republic of Congo, according to the country's Industrial Development and Private Sector Promotion Minister, Isidore Mvouba. He reported the construction work at the new plant is now finished and the 0.5Mta facility is now ready for its official inauguration by Congo's President, Denis Sassou Nguesso.

Cementir Holding SpA's Board of Directors has approved the forecasts for the year 2016 and a new organisational structure for the group. Indonesian cement sales rose by 4.7 per cent YoY to 6.1Mt in November 2015, due to improved government spending on infrastructure projects. Qalaa Holdlings reported consolidated revenues of EGP2051.2m in the third quarter of this year, up 19 per cent compared to the same period of 2014. Cemex plans to increase prices for bulk cement in Mexico starting January 2016, according to local media. Reforma reported that a letter was sent by Cemex to its customers in November to inform them of the pending hike.
