Sococim and Ciments du Sahel produced 1.832Mt of cement, up 5.6 per cent when compared with the 1.734Mt manufactured in 1Q17. The figures do not include output at Dangote Sénégal’s 1.5Mta plant in Pout. Output in 1Q18 was driven by higher domestic sales, which advanced by 50.6 per cent to 1.279Mt from 0.848Mt in 1Q17.
