Pakistan producer, DG Khan Cement, is currently setting up a Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF)  as it intends to use industrial and agricultural waste for power generation to reduce reliance on imported coal. A new class of cement called Portland-limestone cement (PLC) will become mainstream in Ontario and Quebec. Justice Department announced today that Cemex, Inc has agreed to pay a US$1.4m penalty for Clean Air Act violations at its cement plant in Fairborn, Ohio.
