Gresik to spend more for investment projects

Italy Italcementi wins wind farm licence in Turkey

Italcementi has won a licence for the construction of a wind farm in Turkey.   The wind farm will be built in the region of Balikesir in northwestern Turkey in uplands characterised by constant wind, near interconnection nodes with the national electricity distribution network.   The licence was won through the subsidiary of Italcementi, Italgen. India June cement shipments up 8.7 per cent YoY

Cement shipments in India rose 8.7 per cent in June from a year ago, data from the Cement Manufacturers’ Association showed.   Sales rose to 14.79Mt in June, compared with 13.61Mt a year ago, while production rose seven per cent to 14.67 per cent in the month, according to a statement on the CMA’s website.   In the first three months of the year that began April 1, shipments were up 6.2 per cent at 44.37Mt, and production is higher by six per cent at 44.59Mt.
