The two-stage project is expected to create 2.4Mta of capacity at an investment of US$420m. It has been planned in cooperation with Chinese investors, according to Uzbekistan National News. The first stage, taking place over the 2018-20 period, will realise 1.2Mta of capacity at a cost of US$220m. The second stage is expected to be implemented in 2020-23. |
