On 22 October Dome Technology's vice president of operations Dan South attended Summit Materials Inc' ribbon cutting for its new DomeSilo, a structure 38.1m (125ft) in diameter and 11.43m (137.5ft) tall. FLSmidth commissions Çimsa cooler

FLSmidth recently commissioned the new Cross-Bar ®  cooler at Çimsa ’s Eskisehir plant in Turkey.  The project was a retrofit conversion of an SF Cooler complete with wave grates and ABC ® Inlet, which will increase the cooler’s capacity from 1800tpd to 2300tpd. The Cross-Bar cooler also benefits from a low total cost of ownership, thanks to its efficient operation and low maintenance demands, claims FLSmidth.

FCT Combustion has signed a contract to supply a new combustion system for a clinker kiln in Europe. Cimalux removes old kiln shell at Rumelange plant

After 47 years of dedicated service, the clinker kiln in Rumelange is getting a major upgrade with a brand-new gear and partial kiln shell replacement. With a daily production capacity of 3000t, this refurbishment is key to keeping the plant running smoothly. The kiln shell and gear were successfully replaced last week, and Cimalux thanked the incredible teams and partners who made it happen.
