FLSmidth has signed a contract worth EUR32.1m with Administración Nacional De Combustibles, Alcohol y Portland (ANCAP), a state-owned Uruguayan company, to supply equipment and supervision for upgrading the company’s Paysandú cement plant whose first production line was supplied by FLSmidth in 1972. Cemengal has signed a contract to supply a full turnkey grinding station for slag cement in Belgium. The scope of supply involves the installation of fully automatic clinker storage hall, the transport and feeding system, Cemengal ball mill and grinding circuit, storage silos and packing and palletising system. On behalf of the Turkish company Polimeks Insaat Taahhüt ve San. Tic. A.S. the Siemens Industry Solutions Division is to provide the electrical equipment and automation system for a new cement line at Jebel, Turkmenistan. The order is worth around EUR12m and is scheduled for completion in May 2011. The new production line will be the second clinker production line of Turkmenistan. The Cong Thanh Cement Joint Stock Company of Vietnam has contracted Polysius to construct a new 11,000tpd kiln line at their cement factory in the province of Thanh Hoa in Northern Vietnam.   The kiln system itself consists of a five-stage, two-string DOPOL®’90 preheater with PREPOL®-AS-CC calcining system, the rotary kiln (7.2/6.2m in diameter and 90m long) and a POLYTRACK® clinker cooler.   The new line will be commissioned in 2012.
