Sinoma (Suzhou) Construction Co. Ltd. acting as General Contractor placed an order for an MPS 250 BK roller mill for petroleum coke grinding. The grinding plant, designed for a capacity of 30tph, will be set up in Mass Global Company’s cement production line located in Al Shamal, Sudan.

Recent order for Cargotec in Malaysia

At the end of January Cargotec received an order for MacGregor cement self-loading/unloading systems to be installed on two 7000dwt barges being built by Shin Yang Shipyard in Miri, Malaysia. Delivery to Shin Yang Shipping is scheduled for September 2011 and the barges will trade on Malaysian routes between Kuching and Sibu, and between Kuching and Miri. The cargo owner is CMS Cement Sdn Bhd, a cement manufacturer in Sarawak.

Southern Province Cement to boost power generation

Saudi cement producer Southern Province Cement (SPC), said yesterday in a bourse statement it had awarded a SAR 104m (USD 27.7m) contract to Finnish industrial machinery company Wartsila Oyj Abp for the expansion of the power generating capacity at SPC’s cement plant in Tuhama. FLSmidth has been awarded a contract worth approximately US$32m from Brazilian Votorantim Cimentos, Ltda to supply six OK mills for cement grinding. Spanish-based Cemengal, has been awarded a turnkey contract by Lafarge UK for a new Pulverized Fly Ash (PFA) transport and dosing systems for its Hope Works Plant, United Kingdom.
