Ecuador cement sales declined fell to 468,432t compared to 504,682t in the month before, latest data from domestic cement association Inecyc reveals. The decline follows a 15.68 per cent MoM increase in March. Cumulative sales over the first four months of 2015 reached 1.913Mt, the statistics show.

Bangladesh, Indonesia and Taiwan remained among the largest importers of Vietnamese clinker and cement in the first quarter of this year, according to the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade. In April 2015 Argentine market demand expanded by eight per cent MoM while compared to April 2014, the figure rose by 16.7 per cent to 1,045,369t, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP.
