Jiangxi Wannianqing Cement said cement sales in the first eight months rose 2.22Mt YoY to 11.02Mt, reports Oriental Morning Post, citing a company filing.
The average selling price of the company’s cement in August rose 41 per cent YoY to CNY331/t.
The company’s sub-affiliate, Jiangxi Nanfang Cement, raised cement prices by CNY20/t from September 10. The listed company currently holds a 1.4 per cent stake in the sub-affiliate’s parent, Nanfang Cement.
During the first half, the listed company obtained dividends of CNY43.99m from Nanfang Cement.
