Spanish association of cement producers Oficemen has named president the chairman of cement producer Cementos Portland Valderrivas, Dieter Kiefer.

Kiefer will replace Joaquin Estrada, former general director of Cemex Espana, the Spanish unit of Mexico-based cement group Cemex, Oficemen said in a statement.

The chairman of Cementos Portland has been a manager of UBS.
