Siam City Cement PCL said Friday its first-quarter net profit grew 37% due to higher revenue.

In the three months ended March 31, Thailand’s second-largest cement maker by capacity posted a net profit of THB1.12bn (US$37m), compared to THB816.8m a year earlier.

Sales revenue during the period rose to THB6.22bn from THB5.41bn a year earlier. Expenses rose to THB4.73bn from THB4.30bn over the same period.
