Uzbekistan Temir Yollari is currently exploring the potential of a new cement plant in Pakhtachinsky district of the country’s Samarkand region. It held a meeting with representatives of the French construction company Freyssine.
The new cement plant would be built to meet the needs of JSC Uzbekistan Railways, according to Uzbekistan Daily.
The parties considered new geological surveys for the area as well as modern technologies and equipment for the facility. The planned capacity would be around 1Mta.
