Tajikistan has produced around 843,000t of cement in the first three months of 2019, an increase of nine per cent from 747,000t last year, according to Asia-Plus.
Almost 85 per cent of local production was split between Chzhungtsai Mohir Cement, Huaxin Gayur Cement and Huaxin Gayur Sughd Cement in the 1Q19, while Tojik Cement accounted for just 6.4 per cent.
Nearly 36 per cent of domestically-produced cement was exported to neighbouring countries in the period. Over 150,000t was delivered to Uzbekistan,140,000t to Afghanistan and 12,000t of cement to Kyrgyzstan.
