Cement consumption in Argentina slipped by 0.6 per cent YoY in October 2023 to 1,125,049t from 1,131,509t in October 2022, reports the country’s cement association, AFCP. Cement consumption in Argentina fell by 7.8 per cent YoY to 1,118,042t in September 2023, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. Cement dispatches in Argentina declined by 1.4. per cent YoY to 1,209,746t in August 2023 from 1,226,632t in August 2022, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. Cement demand in Argentina declined by 6.9 per cent to 1,067,680t in July 2023 when compared with July 2022, when demand reached 1,146,900t, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. The Argentine cement market contracted 1.5 per cent YoY to 1,072,110t in May 2023, according to the country’s cement association, AFCP. In May 2022 domestic consumption reached 1,088,000t. However, MoM demand was up 4.2 per cent from 1,028,598t in April 2023.
