PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) will pay a dividend of IDR239bn (US$16.9m) or 10 per cent of SMGR's net profit in 2019 which reached IDR2.39trn, down 22.3 per cent YoY. Indonesian export shipments surge 41% in May

Cement and clinker exports from Indonesia advanced 41 per cent YoY in May to reach 625,650t, according to the Indonesian Cement Association (ASI). In May 2019 cement and clinker exports stood at 443,773t. Clinker exports were up 43.1 per cent YoY to 565,542t while cement exports increased 23.5 per cent YoY to 60,109t. Demand for cement in Indonesia declined 38.3 per cent in May 2020 to 3,207,114t, according to the Indonesia Cement Association (ASI). In May 2019 domestic consumption reached 5,195,380t. Semen Indonesia Group (SIG) reported a 36.7 per cent drop in sales to 2,114,125t in May 2020 when compared with 3,338,768t in May 2019. Semen Indonesia Group (SIG) reported total sales in April 2020 of 3,060,256t, up 0.5 per cent when compared with April 2019, when the group achieved sales of 3,046,007t.
