CRH has reported a three per cent like-for-like (LfL) decrease in its sales to US$20.6bn for the nine-month period to the end of September 2020, maintaining the level of sales decline reported at the half-year stage. The USA represented an 18 per cent share of Turkish cement exports during the first nine months of the year, the largest share amongst the export destinations, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat). Mexico’s Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua (GCC) reported a 6.8 per cent YoY decline in consolidated net sales to US$281.1m for the third quarter of 2020, compared with US$301.7m in the 3Q19. USA-based Summit Materials saw its net revenue decrease 3.1 per cent YoY in the 3Q20 to US$645.2m, compared to US$665.8m in the corresponding period of last year.
