Construction starts on new 1.5Mta Uzbek plant25 July 2019, Published under Cement NewsConstruction of a new cement plant in Yanguikurgan district in Namangan region of Uzbekistan has been started. The works has a capacity of 1.5Mta and is built on a 40ha plot. Total cost of the investment is US$105m, of which Chinese investors contribute US$90m. Tajikistan's cement exports rise in 5M1926 June 2019, Published under Cement NewsTajikistan has exported nearly 620,000t of cement over the first five months of 2019, with average monthly exports at around 124,000t. The total is over 100,000t more than in Jan-May 2018, according to Asia-Plus.
