Vicat reports 29% rise in consolidated net income in 2021

Vicat saw its consolidated sales advance by 11.3 per cent to EUR3123m in 2021 from EUR2805m in 2020. At constant scope and exchange rates the increase was 16.2 per cent. EBITDA was up 11.1 per cent and 14.5 per cent like for like (LfL) to EUR619m in 2021 from EUR557m in the previous year. FLSmidth sees 5% rise in order intake in 2021

FLSmidth reported a five per cent increase in order intake in 2021 as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic waned and project sites became more accessible. Frédéric Guimbal has been appointed Chryso Group Executive Vice-president in charge of Markets, Innovation, Purchasing and Communications.   Dal wins order for a new dryer at a Otterbein Turkish engineering and turnkey supplier, DAL has been awarded a project to replace the complete limestone rotary dryer and auxiliary equipment for Zement und Kalkwerke Otterbein in Germany.  The rotary dryer measures 3x22m and will be delivered to the cement and lime manufacturer in Otterbein, Großenlünder-Müs, Germany.

Cement sales of the Buzzi Unicem group amounted to 31.2Mt in 2021, increasing by 6.7 per cent when compared to 2020.
