This week, JSW Cement announced that its new 1Mta clinker production unit in Fujairah, UAE, is expected to be on-stream in January 2020. The project will enable JSW Cement to transfer clinker from UAE to Mumbai, where it will complete the finish grinding for the Indian market. All-India cement prices fall in November

All-India cement prices have reportedly fallen two per cent MoM in November on the back of reduced demand, according to Centrum Broking. The all-India average cement price in October-November was around INR303/50kg bag (US$4.23/50kg bag), down from around INR309 in the July-September quarter and a considerable decline from around INR360 in the 1QFY19-20.

JSW Cement’s clinker production unit Fujairah, UAE, is expected to be completed by the end of January 2020, according to an interview with the Hindu Business Line.
