Lafarge Aslan to invest $10.4m

Turkish cement and clinker producer and distributor Lafarge Aslan Cimento will invest a total $10.4m in output increase and occupational safety in the the period 2005 to 2007, it was reported on September 21, 2004.  Of the total, $3.5m are earmarked for investments in occupational safety and $6.5m for the increase of clinker and cement production. KREMIKOVTSI AD and Germany’s Kloesters signed a contract for setting up of a 25%/75% joint venture cement production (grinding?) plant on September 15, representatives of the Bulgarian metallurgic giant said.
