In 2016 cement companies mined around 680,000m 3 of limestone suitable for cement production in Lithuania, according to the Lithuanian Geological Survey (LGT). USA: slag cement shipments up 12%

The Slag Cement Association (SCA) announced that in 2016 slag cement shipments showed a YoY increase of 12 per cent. US December deliveries down, but full-year 2016 shipments up

Portland and blended cement shipments in the USA fell 8.4 per cent to 6.039Mt in December 2016 from 6.59Mt in December 2015, according to preliminary data from the US Geological Survey (USGS).
