A Czech company is reportedly set to invest US$70m in the establishment of a cement plant in west Afghanistan, according to Afghan local press. The Iraqi Ministry of Defense’s War Media Cell announced on Sunday that security forces have managed to liberate the Badush cement plant in western Mosul, according to Iraqi News. Iran's President, Hassan Rouhani, has opened the 1Mta Bagheran Cement plant in Asadiyeh, Darmian County, South Khorasan province. The new facility costs approximately US$130m, IRNA reported.
