Pakistan July-November export volumes down

Pakistan exports fell to 2.63Mt in the first five months of the current fiscal, down 32.62 per cent YoY, official government data reveals. In terms of revenue, exports declined 35.79 per cent during the July-November 2015 period to US$147.55m. Swiss cement dispatches drop 7.9% YoY in 2015

Cement sales in Switzerland fell 4.2 per cent QoQ in the fourth quarter of 2015, according to domestic cement producers’ association, Cemsuisse. For the full year, deliveries decreased by 7.9 per cent YoY to 4.219Mt. The low-carbon cement segment, particularly CEM II, saw a rise of 90 per cent. In 1995, its market share was limited to six per cent. In terms of transport, 51.1 per cent of dispatches took place via rail.
