Kazakhstan cement producer Steppe Cement Ltd Thursday reported third-quarter 2014 revenue of KZT7.65bn (US$42m), higher than the KZT7.24bn reported in the same period the previous year. Authorities in Vietnam’s northern province of Quang Ninh will remove 7000l of toxic oil from the edge of the Ha Long Bay and dispose of it at Holcim's cement plant in Mekong Delta. Pakistan's total dispatches for the first quarter of the current fiscal increased by 4.86 per cent YoY as domestic sales offset lower exports.
