After a successful bid, Prism Cement Ltd is set to receive 120,000tpa of coal from South Eastern Coalfields (SEC), a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd (CIL). Saudi Arabia: Wärtsilä power plant for Yamana Cement

Yamana Cement Company have awarded Wärtsilä an EPC contract for the supply of a 161MW Flexicycle power plant. In addition to the EPC contract, the companies have also signed a five-year operation and maintenance management agreement as well as a 10-year spare parts supply agreement. Vietnam: order for FLSmidth

Vietnamese cement producer Tan Thang Cement have awarded FLSmidth a contract for the supply of main equipment to a greenfield plant in the country. The Engineering and Procurement contract is valued at approximately DKK255m (US$37.9m). The new 5000tpd plant will be located in the Nghe An province, 300km south of Hanoi. The scope of supply includes all the main equipment, from raw mill grinding to clinker silo, as well as civil design, coal mill installation, training and commissioning.

KHD has been awarded a contract by Cementos Argos for a works in Colombia. Cementos Argos ordered three Pyrojet Burners for coal and gas firing, to be installed at its plant in Yumbo, Cali.
