Myanmar: first Loesche mills

Yojin Construction and Engineering Co Ltd (South Korea) has placed an order for two vertical roller mills with Loesche. The two VRM are to be used at the new clinker grinding plant of Yojin Myanmar Engineering Co Ltd in Thilawa, Myanmar. The mills are to produce 75tph OPC with a fineness of 3300 Blaine. The mills are expected to be operational in late summer 2017.

Loesche has announced that it has been chosen to supply a vertical roller mill and other equipment for the Aman Group’s Haria 2 grinding mill in Narayangonj, Bangladesh. Pangaea Logistics Solutions, Ltd (PLS) has taken delivery of two ultramax ice-class 1C dry bulk carriers from Oshima Shipyard in Japan. Grinding specialist Gebr Pfeiffer was awarded the order for a grinding plant for slag and cement by Cemminerals NV. The Belgian cement producer is in the process of establishing a new grinding unit at the Kluizendok in the port of Ghent. Société des Cements Sigus, a subsidiary of Groupe Industriel des Cements d'Algerie (GICA), has placed an order with thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions for a new 6000tpd plant.
