Georgia: Gebr Pfeiffer mill for Heidelberg's Kaspi plant

Gebr Pfeiffer has received an order from HeidelbergCement for a vertical roller mill, which is due to be set up in its new 3000tpd kiln line at the group’s Kaspi plant in Georgia. The mill will be type MPS 4000B, equipped with an SLS 3750B classifier, and has been designed for a capacity of 270tph raw meal. Russian metals and resource company, Mechel OAO, announced it has signed a contract for the supply of 2-3Mt of thermal coal to Tangshan Jidong Cement Co. The contract term, which will see Mechel supply Russian thermal coal, runs from December 2016-December 2017. The sales price of the coal is to be fixed each month based on the prevailing market rate. FLSmidth has secured an order from Fábrica Nacional de Cemento SA (FANCESA) in Bolivia for the supply of equipment to construct a 2100tpd cement production line. CBMI has signed two contracts with LafargeHolcim for the supply of 1Mta and 0.8Mta grinding facilities in Kenya (Nairobi) and Uganda (Tororo), respectively. Iran: Gebr Pfeiffer mill for Biarjaimand Cement plant

Gebr Pfeiffer has been awarded a contract for the supply of a raw mill (type MVR 4250 R-4) to Biarjaimand Cement Company’s cement plant in Iran. The mill has an installed drive power of 3000kW and is designed to grind 280tph of raw material to a fineness of ≤12 % R 90µm. The order was placed by Beijing Kaysun Trading, a subsidiary of CATIC, on behalf of Biarjaimand Cement. Delivery of the equipment is expected to begin in 2H17.
