Third Siwertell road-mobile cement unloader order helps with Libyan reconstruction

The Turkish construction services company Mussa Insaat Dis Ticaret Ltd of Istanbul has ordered a further road-mobile Siwertell 10 000 S cement unloader from Cargotec. Schade has carried out an order for the Brazilian cement producer Ciplan Cimento Planalto S/A at its 1.6Mta Sobradinho plant which is due to start up later this year. United Cement Industrial Company (UCIC) has selected a Loesche LM 56.4 raw mill for its cement plant in Al-Sadiya, 150km south of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. HeidelbergCement Ukraine (Dnipropetrovsk region), has appointed two members of the supervisory board, according to a company statement. Wolfram Gaertner and Robert Breyer have been elected supervisory board members for three years. In addition, Andrzej Balcerek, Klaus Schwind and Andreas Kern were re-elected supervisory board members. At the same time, Ernest Jelito was removed from the supervisory board, Ukrainian news reported.

ZAB Zementanlagenbau GmbH Dessau, a subsidiary of KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG, has signed contracts totalling over EUR90m for equipment and services for a new cement plant consisting of two 3000tpd clinker lines. The new plant will be built in the Kaluga region of Russia for Pervaja Cementnaja Kompanija (PZK), part of the same group as major Russian construction company SU-155.
