According to Dangote, the move is designed to reduce prices and ease logistical issues. It is also hoped to end scams by online fraudsters claiming to sell Dangote cement at vastly-deflated prices. Using Jumia customers will be able to order Dangote cement online in 50kg bags with a minimum order of 300 bags. Jorge Méndez, president of the Paraguayan cement producer, said the company sold 1,249,065 bags of Cemento Vallemi, a sign that the market is returning to growth. Anhui Conch27 November 2017, Published under Cement NewsAnhui Conch Cement has ordered a hydraulic drilling rig for its cement production project in TongChuan, Shaanxi province, China. The US$1.7m rig is being supplied by Atlas Copco and is due for delivery in February 2018. It will be installed at the limestone mine supplying the company’s cement plant in Tongchuan.
