LafargeHolcim’s plant in Msila, Algeria, has recently carried out a 17,000t shipment for west Africa.
The consignment of bulk cement was delivered to the port of Djendjen. It is the seventh such delivery since December 2017 and its part of the group’s plans to export 2Mt of cement in 2020.
LafargeHolcim owns two plans in Algeria – one at M’Sila and one at Oggaz (Mascara). In addition, it is part of a joint venture with the Souakri Cilas group and runs the plans at Biskra.
