SCG forecasts regional capacity will hit 292Mta by 2018

Indonesian president Joko Widodo will meet with nine women who encased their feet in concrete in protest over the construction of a cement factory in Java. Semen Indonesia’s total cement sales reached 1.82Mt in February 2016, down almost nine per cent from the 1.99Mt recorded in the same month last year. Cement sales in Indonesia rose three per cent YoY to 4.45Mt in February 2016 from the same month one year earlier.
