Semen Baturaja achieved a 20.66 per cent rise in cement sales last year to IDR1.46trn (US$109.32m), the Indonesian stated-owned cement company has said. Weak cement demand in Indonesia contributed to a 1.5 per cent decline in revenue for HeidelbergCement’s Asia-Pacific Group in 2015. Cement industry statistics show that full-year 2015 consumption in Indonesia increased by 0.8 per cent YoY to 60.4Mt, while including exports, sales were up by 2.1 per cent to 61.448Mt.
