Cement sales in Indonesia have reaccelerated in June following a slowdown in the previous month as demand recovers outside of Java. However, a more reduced growth rate is expected through the second half of the year due to a decline in infrastructure development. Indonesian cement sales during the month of May rose at their slowest pace for 17 months as all regions outside Java and Sulawesi registered declines. Semen Baturaja has received a positive response from the market during its first day of trading on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). Loesche delivers LM 56.4 mill to Pansania Group, Indonesia

High Pinnacle Construction Pte Ltd, Singapore, has opted to use a Loesche Mill Type LM 56.4 at its cement plant in Bandung, Indonesia. The vertical roller mill (VRM) will be used for the grinding of cement raw material at the Pansania Group’s plant in Bandung, Indonesia. The VRM's product rate will be 420tph with a fineness of <10 per cent R DIN 0.08mm. The mill motor will have a capacity of 4000kW. The delivery for the project is planned for April 2014.

Siemens wins new contract from PT Indocement, Indonesia

PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) recorded a 14.7 per cent increase in cement sales last year, exceeding the country's average increase of 14.5 per cent and representing a 44 per cent market share. Cement sales of PT Semen Indonesia in Kalimantan rose 11.4 per cent in the period of January to April reaching 1.47Mt.
