Novoroscement signs financing agreement with VTB Bank07 November 2012, Published under Cement NewsVTB Bank has signed an agreement with Novoroscement, the largest cement producer in southern Russia, to provide a RUB920m (US$29m) credit line to finance the company’s current operations. “The borrowed finds will be used to finance the current activities of the enterprise,” VTB said. Sibirsky Cement, which comprises three plants, sold 3.172Mt of cement in this period, a 6.2 per cent increase on the year. Iskitimtsement raises 9M12 output, Russia03 October 2012, Published under Cement NewsIskitimtsement, part of Russia-based RATM Holding, raised cement output by 23.1 per cent YoY to 1.123Mt in January-September, RIA Novosti news reported. Deliveries rose 28.9 per cent to 1.294Mt during the same nine m onth period. For the third quarter of the year, Iskitimtsement produced 535,000t of cement and sold 579,369t.
