Maltsovskiy Portlandcement, part of the Eurocement Group, reported a rise in cement production of 2.5 per cent YoY to 3.16Mt. Clinker production totaled 3.34Mt for the year, a 3.9 per cent increase. Shipments were up 3.14Mt, SKRIN news reported.

Eurocement Group, Russia’s leading cement producer, has held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new plant in the Samara, Volga region which is part of the company’s impressive multibillion expansion programme. Eurocement awards contract for new power facilities, Russia

Russia’s leading cement producer, Eurocement Group, is to build power facilities in the Samara region and has signed a contract with FGC UES for their construction. Power facilities to be constructed include a 220kW transmission line and a 220kV electric power substation, SKIRIN news reports.

Pikalevskiy Cement production rises, Russia

Russia-based producer Pikalevskiy Cement reported a rise in cement production of three per cent in 2011 to 1.78Mt, SKRIN newswire reports. The company, which operates in the Leningrad region and is part of the Eurocement Group, said clinker production amounted to 1.55Mt, up 12.2 per cent on 2010 figures. Shipments for last year reached 1.78Mt, a YoY increase of 3.8 per cent.
