US-based Lehigh Hanson Inc has delayed the start of the US$600m expansion project at its Mitchell plant in Lawrence County, Indiana. USA-based Georgia Power today announced a new beneficial reuse project for coal ash stored at Plant Mitchell, a retired coal-fired power station near Albany. On a consolidated basis, Colombia-based cement producer Argos reported an 11.4 per cent increase in revenues and a 14.3 per cent increase in EBITDA during 2019. US-based Buffalo Fuel Corp is planning to set up a new US$2.2m facility in Niagara Falls, New York, USA, for processing tyres and recyclable paper into fuel for cement kilns.
