A TEC to supply new preheater for Mannersdorf plant

Following A TEC’s successful order for a flash dryer at Lafarge Mannersdorf , the Austrian company has been awarded a project for a new preheater at the same plant, i n cooperation with Aliacem. The order will include the supply of cyclones, including riser ducts for stage four of the double-string preheater. The new design by A TEC will reduce the pressure drop and increase preheater efficiency. The project will be realised in the upcoming winter maintenance stop in 2022.

FLSmidth reports 2Q21 strong order intake and improved profitability

FLSmidth’s order intake in the 2Q21 increased 42 per cent compared to the 2Q20 and by 38 per cent to DKK4615m (US$97m) YoY. Holcim takes drone work to new heights at Siggenthal

Buzzi Unicem's net sales in the 1H20 increased 5.8 per cent, standing at EUR1608.7m versus EUR1520.1m in 1H20, while EBITDA improved by 12.3 per cent, advancing from EUR313.9m to EUR352.5m. Cementir reported a 16.5 per cent rise in revenues for the first half of 2021 to EUR664.5m from EUR570.4m in the 1H20. Holcim announced 1H21 net sales of CHF12,566m (US$13,640m) compared to CHF10,693m in the 1H20, a rise of 16.6 per cent LfL. Operating profit (EBIT) reached CHF1794 up from CHF1005 in the 1H20.
