Cementos Molins expects to raise AF use to 39%

Cementos Molins plans to raise alternative fuel use at its Sant Vicenç del Horts plant near Barcelona, Spain, from 34 to 39 per cent of the fuel mix this year. Mombasa Cement is set to build a 36MW wind farm in Kilifi for its own energy use and sale to Kenya Power. UAE: Ras Al Khaimah hit by cement plant emissions

The Environment Protection and Development Authority (EPDA), has launched an investigation into dust clouds and emsisions from the Ras Al Khaimah cement factory following observations of Khor Khuweir residents.
