Total sales of Yemen’s state-run Al-Barh Cement Plant in the southwestern governorate of Taiz reached 10.131bn Yemeni rials (US$51m), an increase of 2.600bn rials (US$13m), compared to 2005, it was reported on April 15, 2007.     In 2006, the plant’s total output reached 579,518t, exceeding by far the planned output of 500,000t for the year.
