Burnpur Cement, Inida, proposes to come up with a cement unit of 1000tpd capacity and a 50MW thermal-based power unit at Hazaribagh in Jharkhand. The total project will cost Rs500 crore. Cemex has announced plans to construct a new grinding and blending facility for blended cements in the UK, at the Port of Tilbury near London.
