Cement manufacturer Salonit Anhovo, Slovenia, expects to generate SIT 12bn (EUR 50m) in sales revenue this year. Cement demand growing strong, Thailand

For the first ten months of this year, Thai cement consumption expanded 13.9 per cent from the same period as last year. Cement sales for the rest of this year are expected to expand at double digit growth, resulting in this year’s growth of at least 12 per cent compared with the industry’s forecast of 8-10 per cent. Thai TPI Polene sees 2004 revenues up

Oysa Cimento completes its investment , Turkey

Turkish cement company Oysa Cimento announced that its new grinding facility at the Iskenderun factory became operational as of Dec 20. With the investment, the factory’s grinding capacity in slag cement increased to 110tph from the previous 51.5tph. Oysa Cimento spent around TRL14tn for the investment. 

Attock cement, Best Way to set up further plants

Attock Cement would set up the plant in Hub, an industrial area of Balochistan, with an estimated cost of US$60m.
