Vietnam produces 30.1Mt of cement in 1H1101 July 2011, Published under Cement NewsCement producers in Vietnam are estimated to have manufactured 30.1Mt of cement in the first half of this year. The figure represents a YoY increase of 14.7%, the government’s General Statistics Office said in a monthly report released late Wednesday. In June, the country’s cement output is estimated to stand at 5.9Mt, up 28.2% YoY. The Ministry of Construction forecasts Vietnam’s cement consumption to reach between 54.5Mt and 56Mt this year, up 9%-10% from a year earlier. |
