The trading profit fell by 26.9% to €698m and, after a net interest charge 16.8% lower at €247m, the running pre-tax profit was down by 32.2% to €479m. On an average, coal prices will move up by 12 per cent. The prices of premium grade A and B coal have been linked to international coal prices and would be offered at a 15 per cent discount to global spot prices.
