Gebr Pfeiffer AG and its Indian subsidiary Gebr Pfeiffer AG (INDIA) Pvt Ltd have been appointed by Mumbai-based ACC Ltd, which belongs to the Holcim group, to supply an MPS 5600 B vertical roller mill for its new Chanda works, which will be set up in Chandrapur / Maharashtra.   The raw mill with an installed drive capacity of 5600kW will be capable of producing 560tph of raw meal ground to a fineness of 1.5 per cent R 212 microns.   This recent order follows a contract won a few m...

TurboSonic Technologies, Inc announced receipt of US$1m in new orders for SoniChem Chemical Oxidizer and TurboVenturi Gas Scrubbing Systems. KHD Humboldt Wedag International Ltd announced today that it has won a contract valued at approximately US$80m to design, manufacture and install cement production lines at two locations in India for New Delhi-based  Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd. FLSmidth has signed its third contract this year for equipment for a greenfield cement plant in Russia. The contract is with Italian Buzzi Unicem S.p.A and its German subsidiary Dyckerhoff AG. On top of this contract, FLSmidth is to supply another equipment package to Buzzi Unicem for a new cement production line at an existing plant in Ukraine. Sinoma International Engineering Co Ltd said its unit Sinoma (Handan) Construction Co Ltd has won a contract to supply a production line valued at CNY118m for the Lhoknga cement plant in Indonesia, run by PT Semen Andalas. Akmenes Cementas, Lithuania’s sole cement manufacturer, was to sign on Tuesday three contracts worth over LTL141m (EUR41m) in total to supply it with equipment for its planned new production line.
